On Friday August 26 we attended the MN State Fair to see the crowds and attend the Grandstand show of the Wallflowers and the Counting Crows. We went back early on Aug 30 to catch breakfast at the Hamline Church Cafe which has been a mainstay for many years and then moved onto favorite features of the Fair. The Art building juried show (some of my favorites shown and a strange one we saw of an electronic church sign images), agriculture building, creative activities building, animal barns, DNR and their fish pond (where the fish are packed up each and every year to return the following if they survive their rest-of-the year pond) and then some random pictures from walking around the fair.
